Navidi’s is a proud supplier of Nonna’s Noodles, handmade by Sarah Beth owner and sole operator out of Tigard, Oregon. We had an option of carrying pasta from a larger provider, but we selected Nonna Noodles for two reasons, she puts care in every bag she sells and she is local and uses only local ingredients. She uses the freshest, local, free range eggs and unbleached wheat flour, Bob’s Red Mill Spelt, or King Arthurs White Whole Wheat which gives her pasta its golden color and superior taste. Using her 95 year old grandmothers secret Italian recipe her pasta is rolled so thin its translucent. The pasta comes with cooking directions, most only take 1 -3 minutes in boiling water, so they are excellent for those last minute dinners. Her pasta is delivered to our store almost weekly, so when you buy her product you know its only the freshest and they haven’t been sitting in a warehouse for months, traveling from factory to store.
