Navidi's Pear-Brie Crostini

Prep Time: 20 min.  Servings: 4


• 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2" rounds 

• 1/4 cup Navidi's Butternut Squash Seed Oil (no longer available; try our Hazelnut Oil or Sage Olive Oil instead)

• 2 Tablespoons Navidi's Cinnamon Pear Balsamic

• Brie cheese, sliced

• 2 ripe fresh pears, sliced 

• Roasted walnuts, for garnish

• Sea salt, to taste

• Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F.  Brush bread rounds with oil and place on cookie sheet.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Layer Brie cheese and pears on top and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese begins to melt and turn golden.  While the crostini is cooking, whisk the remaining butternut squash seed oil and balsamic together in a bowl.  Remove bread from oven, drizzle with the Cinnamon Pear Balsamic/Seed Oil vinaigrette, and garnish with walnuts.  Serve and enjoy!
